These chocolate dipped heart-shaped sablés will be perfect as a Valentine's Day treat !
I’m not even going to call this a recipe. This is more of an idea for a quick and easy Valentine’s Day treat : chocolate dipped heart-shaped sablés.
I shared the recipe for almond sablés last week, and this week I’m showing you what I did with some of them. I melted some dark chocolate, dipped the cookies in it and sprinkled some pink and white sanding sugar on them before the chocolate set (I wanted to use pink and white nonpareils but realised I didn’t have any. The horror ! I really thought I had some in my sprinkle collection. That’ll have to be remedied, ha !) You could also use white or milk chocolate, and you can obviously use any kind of sprinkles you have.
These chocolate dipped cookies are very (very, very) easy to make. Here is the link to the almond sablés again : these sablés (French roll-out sugar cookies) are egg-free and only require four ingredients.

150g of dark chocolate
