Easy Apple Tart

Make an easy tart with fresh apples and applesauce.

applesauce tart recipe
I'm not even sure this should count as a recipe. I mean, want to know how to make an easy apple tart ? Here's what you should do : get a pie crust (I used a puff pastry crust but you can use whichever you want), pour some applesauce in your pie crust and cover with apple slices. Bake for about 40 minutes. There. You have an apple tart. I'm not sure what else there is to say, really.
Oh wait, maybe I do : adding a little whipped cream to your apple tart slice is a good idea. A really, really good idea.
I usually blind bake my pie crusts for about 10/15 minutes so the bottom doesn't get all soggy. I didn't here and maybe I should have, so if you want to blind bake your crust before adding the applesauce, you can ! Just reduce the baking time by about 10 minutes or so.
Make sure you let the apple tart cool down enough before eating ! Warm applesauce is definitely a mouth-burn hazard ! :)
